Traffic is backed up on the A6 toward Saarbrücken following a car crash near the Dreieck Kaiserslautern interchange, according to a witness.

The crash, where the A63 merges into the A6, prompted a police response around 10:30 a.m.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area and expect delays until the scene is cleared.
