Sexual offenses fell by 4%, with nearly half of the incidents occurring online
The number of knife attacks remained at 86, with a five-year-high case clearance rate of over 95 percent
Domestic violence in the region increased slightly with partner violence and intrafamilial violence rising by 49 cases and 21 cases, respectively. The clearance rate in both areas was nearly 100%, according to the report.
In 2025, the Westpfalz Police Headquarters conducted 607 preventative measures, in which 13,003 citizens participated. The focus was on protecting children from sexual abuse and combating hate speech and incitement, according to Thursday’s announcement.
