Torchlight hike: Grab a torch and join dozens of hikers on a glowing evening trek to Kaiserslautern’s Humberg Tower during this dramatic nighttime event on Saturday departing from the cul-de-sac at the end of Im Stadtwald at 6 p.m., with festivities beginning around 7 p.m. At the end of the hike, visitors are rewarded with a fire show, horn performances, Swedish fire displays, crackling bonfires and food and drink vendors. Admission is free.
Pet portrait paint and sip: Turn your beloved pet into a work of art during this fun paint-and-sip night in Rodenbach on Friday at 6:30 p.m. An experienced artist will guide you step by step as you transform a photo of your furry friend into a colorful keepsake. Registration is 35 euros.
German-American Friendship Concert: Enjoy an evening of powerful live music as the U.S. Army Europe and Africa Band takes the stage during this special international concert in Kaiserslautern on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. The performance celebrates German-American friendship with a lively mix of musical favorites and big band energy. Admission is free, with tickets available at Kaiserslautern Town Hall.
Easter egg exhibition: Discover tiny masterpieces during this colorful spring exhibition in Siegelbach on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Around 20 artists transform traditional Easter eggs into stunning works of art using intricate, centuries-old techniques alongside modern designs. Admission is 1.50 euros, and children under 13 get in free.
Wine walk: Sip and stroll your way through a roughly 2-mile tasting route during this laid-back wine celebration in Bad Dürkheim on Sunday between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Follow the scenic path as local winemakers pour samples and food vendors serve up tasty bites along the route. Walking the route is free, but bring cash for wine and food.
