The Armed Services Blood Program is asking the Kaiserslautern Military Community to step up and donate ahead of possible increased demand.
Blood drives will be held across the KMC starting next week, offering several chances to make a lifesaving donation. The drives are open to anyone with base access, including U.S. and NATO service members, civilian and local national employees, retirees and family members ages 18 and older.
Donations can be made next week at the Sembach Fitness Center on Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and at the Kleber Fitness Center on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The following week, drives will be held March 16 and 17 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center’s Heaton Auditorium.
You can sign up as a volunteer or donor here.
