With extra time to unwind, there’s even more time for food, fun and local adventures. Whether you’re in the mood for lights, games or a stadium full of fans, this weekend in the Kaiserslautern Military Community has you covered.
Special art exhibition: Dive into the vibrant world of 1920s design at this one-of-a-kind art show in Mainz from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday. These vintage sheet music covers tell stories of jazz, freedom and the bold spirit of the Roaring Twenties. Admission is 4 euros for adults, 2 euros for children and seniors.
Winter lights: Step into a glowing wonderland of shimmering trees and sparkling crystals at this dazzling light show in Mannheim from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Expect jaw-dropping displays, magical photo ops and a whole lot of winter wow. Tickets start at 12.50 euros for adults and 6.50 euros for children ages 6 to 15.
FCK vs. Hannover 96: Feel the roar of the crowd and the thrill of the action at this electric football match in Kaiserslautern at 1:30 p.m. Sunday. The Red Devils are ready to battle it out in a stadium packed with energy. Tickets start at 27 euros.
