Fresh-baked pretzels are back on the menu at the Kaiserslautern Military Community Center starting Friday.

Auntie Anne’s will open its first storefront on an overseas U.S. military base at 11 a.m. Friday at the KMCC, according to a post on the facility’s Facebook page.

The event was originally set for Monday but was postponed on Oct. 31, just days after being announced. The rescheduled celebration is expected to include a ribbon-cutting, free samples and cupcakes, as initially planned.

Auntie Anne’s, known for soft pretzels and lemonade, began at a Pennsylvania farmer’s market in 1988, according to its website.
