Auntie Anne’s has postponed the grand opening of its first storefront at an overseas U.S. military base, originally scheduled for 11 a.m. on Monday at the Kaiserslautern Military Community Center.

A new date will be announced soon, according to a statement posted to the KMCC’s Facebook page Friday.

The snack chain, known for its soft pretzels and lemonade, was set to mark the occasion with a ribbon-cutting, free samples and celebratory cupcakes. Auntie Anne’s began at a Pennsylvania farmer’s market in 1988, according to its website.
