Construction on the drive aisle between the Kaiserslautern Military Community Center’s main entrance and parking lot has been extended into November, according to Ramstein Air Base officials.

The project, originally scheduled to conclude Oct. 17, was split into two phases to meet safety requirements, a base representative told Stripes. Officials now expect the area to be fully open to traffic by the end of November.

“We understand that these adjustments may cause some inconvenience and sincerely appreciate the community’s patience and understanding as we work diligently to improve our infrastructure while maintaining the highest safety standards,” the representative said.
