Following their dramatic last-minute win in Karlsruhe last week, the Red Devils are back on the Betzenberg Sunday with a 1:30 p.m. match against Nuremberg.

In case you missed it, Marlon Ritter, playing his 100th second division game for Kaiserslautern, scored the 3-2 winning goal in the third minute of stoppage time.

The win moved FCK up to fifth in the standings with 18 points. Nuremberg comes to Fritz Walter Stadium in 15th place with eight points. The Club, coached by 1. FC Kaiserslautern legend Miroslav Klose, got off to a slow start this season, but two wins and a tie in the past four games has FCN back on track.

1. FC Kaiserslautern coach Torsten Lieberknecht will have to replace Fabian Kunze in the lineup after he was yellow carded for the fifth time this season. Semih Sahin was out during the week with a cold, and Kim Ji-Soo and Ivan Prtajin did not practice with the team due to injuries. It remains to be seen if the two can play on Sunday.

Fritz Walter Stadium is close to being sold out again, with only a few remaining tickets available on the FCK website.

The Red Devils play another Franconian team on Wednesday when they travel to Fürth for a 6 p.m. German cup game against Greuther Fürth. They play their next league match in Düsseldorf on Nov. 2, before returning to Fritz Walter Stadium for a Saturday night game on Nov. 8 against Hertha BSC Berlin.
