Ramstein Air Base launched its seasonal flu shot campaign this week, with designated walk-in times for active duty members, civilians, dependents, contractors, DODEA students and other TRICARE beneficiaries enrolled in MHS GENESIS.

Active duty personnel can get vaccinated from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. today through Friday in Building 2116, not at the clinic. The building is on Harmon Avenue, next to the recycling center and across from the Pizza Hut Express near Southside Fitness Center.

Other TRICARE beneficiaries age 5 and older can receive their shots Oct. 27 through 31 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the same location.

Families with children age 4 and younger, and adults 65 and older, should go to the base’s immunizations clinic.

Flu shots are also available this week at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center’s 3C clinic for those 36 months and older, Tuesday through Thursday, from 7 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
