DAEGU WARRIORS
Softball
Head coach — Oliver Herazo, second season.
Key performers — Alycia Porter, Jr., SS-P; Angel Harris, Jr.; Ginita Leon Guerrero, Jr., OF; Kay Thomas, Jr., 1B; Piper Walker, Fr., C.
Outlook — Rebuilding-reloading. Once more, hampered by the constant turnover that is a way of life in DODEA. Numbers are thin; however, Warriors have a core of returners with experience and Walker, while a freshman, is not new to the game.
Boys soccer
2025 season record — 1-14.
Head coach — Robert Kenny, 10th season.
Key performers — Evan Son, Sr., MF; Alex Kenny, Jr., MF; Max Lim, Sr., def. Dylan Lentz, Sr., MF; Ceasar Trujillo, Sr., def.
Outlook — Rebuilding. Good core of senior veterans and youngsters showing promise. A matter of how quickly they come together.
Girls soccer
2025 season record — 4-14.
Head coach — Don Park, first season.
Key performers — Leilani Rice, Jr., D; Denali Clites, Sr., MF (7 goals).
Outlook — Rebuilding. Steep learning curve at first, but the team could improve and become competitive as it did in the late stages last season.
HUMPHREYS BLACKHAWKS
Baseball
Head coach — Jeremy Pittman, first season
Key performers — Bradley Miller, Sr., C; Kaiden You, Sr., OF-P; Jonathan Yrigoyen, Sr., C; Timothy Yrigoyen, Sr., SS-P.
Outlook — Rebuilding-reloading. The Blackhawks face a fourth straight season with a new coaching staff, though Pittman is hardly new to the game. The Yrigoyen twins were a gift from the PCS Plane from Barstow, Calif. Numbers are thin; Blackhawks have 14 on the roster at this point.
Softball
Head coach — Ashley Gooch, fourth season.
Key performers — Deja Wilson, Jr., C; Saniyah Sherman, Jr., utility; Jocelyn Sanchez Falkenberg, Jr., P-SS; Amaris Rosales, Sr., P-SS.
Outlook — Reloading-contending. Team is heavy in upperclassmen, a solid group of players returning and some youngsters who aren’t new to softball.
Boys soccer
2025 season record — 3-8.
Head coach — Lino Campos-Cantu, second season (fourth with the program).
Key performers — Jeremy Oledibe, Jr., def.; Joel Kwak, Sr., GK; William Rah, Sr., MF.
Outlook — Strong up front, rebuilding in the back. Midfielders and strikers form a good core, but the defense is a work in progress. Hoping to finish strong in both regular season and Far East D-I.
Girls soccer
2025 season record — 11-8-1.
Head coach — Scott Bittner, fourth season (coached previously at Seoul American).
Key performers — Hannah Corrales, Sr., def.; Emily Mills, Sr., F (10 goals); Lauren Haith, So., MF; Christie Park, Sr., GK; Sophea Ung, Fr., wing.
Outlook — Rebuilding. Transfers and graduation hurt the Blackhawks; they lost 28 goals from last season. But they have a small core of veterans. Park is new to soccer but is an athlete who’s played multiple seasons of volleyball for the Blackhawks. Ung has played club ball both on Okinawa and in California.
OSAN COUGARS
Baseball
Head coach — Dexter Thomas, first season.
Key performers — David Greene, Sr., P; Noe Vasquez, Sr.; Brigham Mitchell, Fr., 2B-P; Anthoney Canizales, So., OF-3B.
Outlook — Starting over, since the Cougars did not have a baseball team last season. Greene is the lone player with experience. Still deciding on a catcher. Trying to improve each day.
Softball
Head coach — Tyler Greve, second season.
Key performers — Belldandy Lamb, Sr., SS; Blake Troutman, So., 2B.
Outlook — Rebuilding. Cougars’ numbers are thin, as they were last season. They have 11 and are hoping to get more. Though mostly very young, Greve says his charges show promise.
Boys soccer
2025 season record — 7-11.
Head coach — Michael Paul, fourth season.
Key performers — Reid Iverson, Jr., D-MF (12 goals); Aiden Machmer, Sr., MF; John Krabbe, Sr.; Artleandro Clemons, Sr.
Outlook — Rebuilding-reloading. Broke into the win column last season for the first time since 2022 and have a chance to build on that momentum as the season goes along. Iverson and Machmer form the core of the team. Keep an eye on them.
Girls soccer
2025 season record — 9-6-1.
Head coach — Sung Plourde, 24th season.
Key performers — Susanna Walsh, So.; Molly Harman, Jr.; Krystal Purvis, Jr.; Yasmina Sabur, Jr.; Caroline Reeves, Sr.; Dhenny Rivas, Sr.
Outlook — Rebuilding-reloading. DODEA’s transient environment also battered the Cougars; 33 goals either transferred or graduated. Cougars thrived in the regular season; can they take it one step further? Osan still holds the DODEA-Pacific record with eight Far East Division II titles, but it’s been a lengthy drought with none in the last 13 seasons.
