Merle Hunter ©Stars and StripesHohne, West Germany, May, 1956: Sir Winston Churchill arrives at a parade ground to review his old regiment, the 4th Queen's Own Hussars, in an emotional ceremony during the former British prime minister's three-day visit to West Germany. Churchill joined the 4th in 1895 as a cavalry officer and served with them through 1899. He had been Colonel-in Chief of the Regiment since November, 1941.
