Ron Jensen ©Stars and StripesLondon, February, 2001: Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Carlos Tilliman has the distinct honor of having his re-enlistment ceremony conducted by former Tuskegee Airman Charles E. McGee at the U.S. Navy Europe headquarters in London. After his service with the famed group of African-American pilots during World War II McGee went on to fly in Korea and Vietnam, finishing with a record total of 409 fighter combat missions in the three wars before retiring as a colonel in 1973.RELATED MATERIAL:Col.
