Putnam of the 3rd Armored Division Band plays taps during a Memorial Day ceremony at the Netherlands American Cemetery at Margraten. The 65.5-acre cemetery is the final resting place of 8,301 Americans, and a monument there lists another 1,722 who were missing in action.
