Taszar, Hungary, November 1996: Pfc. Gabriel Medina uses water from a high-pressure hose to clean a five-ton truck before returning to Fort Campbell, Ky. The IFOR sign on the vehicle means that it was used by the Implementation Force assigned to the Operation Joint Endeavor peacekeeping effort in Bosnia and Herzegovina between December, 1995 and December, 1996. The air base at Taszár was a stopover point for thousands of U.S. troops heading home from deployment in Bosnia. (Michael Abrams/Stars and Stripes)
