From the archives: Alps make fine break for airmen, 2003

Solden, Austria, October 11, 2003: A first-time snowboarder, Airman Mark Davies nearly gave up halfway down the Rettenbach glacier. Despite the learning curve, Davies said the trip to the Alps would make a good story to tell his folks.
