From the archives: Germans and Americans celebrate anniversaries in Grafenwöhr, 2005

Grafenwöhr, Germany, June 30, 2005: Brig. Gen Mark Hertling, commander of the 7th Army Training Command, shares a laugh and some suds with Grafenwöhr mayor Helmuth Wächter at the gala 95-60-50 celebration in the training area. Hundreds of German and American citizens gathered under the shadow of the Grafenwöhr training area’s most recognizable structure, the giant, ornately decorated water tower to officially kick off the regional 95-60-50 celebrations.
