From the archives: Turkish troops in South Korea, 1962

SEOUL, South Korea, July 10, 1962: Members of the 13th Turkish Armed Forces Co. (TAFC) meet their commander, Maj. Mehmet Bolatli, in the traditional manner on arrival at Kimpo AB, Korea. The 13th officially became a member of the United Nations Command in ceremonies at Knight Field, Seoul. The unit replaced the 12th TAFC which returned home two days ago..
