From the archives: Children feed ponies at Diana’s Horse Farm in Germany, 2011

OTTERBERG, Germany, April 2011: The children of Warrior Transition Unit soldiers enjoy feeding the ponies at Diana’s Horse Farm. More than two dozen soldiers assigned to a Warrior Transition Unit in Germany spent sunny afternoon horsing around horses. For these and family members of some, it was therapeutic just to escape the antiseptic environment they now find themselves immersed in.
