Naval Station Rota, Spain, 2003: Reservists Petty Officer 1st Class Edward Sanchez, left, and Petty Officer 3rd Class Robert Quinones help tie down a fuel ship to the pier. About 1,000 reservists choose to come to Rota each year for their mandatory two weeks of training. Because of the war on terrorism, the base is hoping more reservists will elect to come to the naval station.
