Baumholder dance aficionados got their holiday fix of Peter Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker” at the Wetzel Theater. More than 200 people turned out to see the Baumholder Youth Ballet’s winter recital, which featured 55 dancers. The youth ballet is under the direction of Viviane Elliott, who also created all the choreography for the recital. This is the second year that Elliott — a former ballet dancer and Juilliard School graduate — has directed the Baumholder company.
