What — Second meeting in as many weeks between two teams considered contenders for the regular-season championship in the Korean-American Interscholastic Activities Conference Blue Division. It matches the host and defending regular-season and KAIAC Tournament champion Falcons against the resurgent, visiting Warriors, who had gone winless the last two seasons. The teams met seven days earlier, with Seoul American outlasting Daegu 58-53 in newly christened Warrior Gym.
Players to watch — Chiefly responsible for helping the Falcons escape Daegu last week was junior guard Maria Bruch, who is averaging 20 points per game and had 28 points plus 10 rebounds, six assists and nine steals. The Warriors’ attack features a pair of freshmen, guard Bethani Newbold (15.7 points per game) and center DaiJa Turner (22 points a game).
