What – First of two meetings this regular season between the teams competing for host rights to the Far East Division II title game. Whichever team wins out hosts the Japan representative in the Far East title game scheduled for the weekend of Oct. 27-28. The teams meet again at Camp Walker, Daegu, on Oct. 20.
Players to watch – For the Warriors, holders of a Pacific-record five Far East D-II championships, the backfield has led the way this season: Bishop Fields with 266 yards and three touchdowns on 47 carries and Javeon Bell with 492 yards and three TDs on 60 carries. Humphreys’ attack has been more balanced: Miles Brice has gone 21-for-57 for 402 yards and four touchdowns, and run 13 times for 90 yards. David Key has led the rushing attack with 209 yards and two TDs on 33 carries and Josh Weaver has contributed 122 yards and two scores on 25 carries. Kedarian Key, David’s cousin, has four catches for 130 yards and two touchdowns and Owen Williams 111 yards and a TD on seven catches, plus 16 tackles. Elayna Snyder, an All-Korea soccer goalkeeper, is 6-for-8 on extra-point tries in two games.
