Pvt. Brian Jones Jr. was sentenced Thursday to 247 months of confinement, reduction in rank to E‑1, total forfeiture of all pay and allowances and a dishonorable discharge after admitting to the unpremeditated killing of Pvt. Abdul N. Latifu.
