TOKYO — Cmdr. Michael Spencer is expected to take over as commander of Strike Fighter Squadron 102 at a ceremony Wednesday at Naval Air Facility Atsugi.

Spencer takes command after serving as the executive officer of the squadron.

Cmdr. Steven Hejmanowski, the outgoing commander, will next serve as the TOPGUN training department head at the Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center in Fallon, Nev.
