YOKOSUKA NAVAL BASE, Japan – The Chief of Naval Personnel announced this week that changes made to an incentive pay program could give a new group of enlisted leaders in the nuclear community $100,000 for re-enlisting.

According to a Navy message, sailors in the nuclear community with as few as 10 years of service will be eligible to receive Enlisted Supervisor Retention Pay starting Jan. 1.

The program only applies the nuclear community.
