TOKYO — The Navy’s Blue Angels flight demonstration team is encouraging qualified Navy and Marine Corps officers and enlisted personnel to apply for a variety of positions for the 2012 and follow-on seasons.
The team is currently looking for three F/A-18 demonstration pilots, one Marine Corps C-130 demonstration pilot, one supply officer and one administrative officer, according to a Navy news release.
The Blue Angels also are looking to fill positions in the following enlisted ratings for sailors and Marines E-5 and above: aviation machinist’s mate, aviation electrician’s mate, aviation structural mechanics, aviation ordnanceman, aviation electronics technician, aviation maintenance administrationman, aircrew survival equipmentman, mass communication specialists, logistics specialists and yeoman.
Outstanding E-4s could also be considered to fill those positions, the release said.
Application deadlines are April 30 for officers and May 1 for enlisted.
