A U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter has crashed west of Denver.

“The U.S. Army Special Operations Aviation Command is aware of an Aug. 25, 2026, aviation mishap involving four Special Operations Aviation soldiers and an MH-60 Black Hawk helicopter during routine training operations near Denver, Colo. Currently, there are no reported injuries,” said Jacqueline Hill, a spokesperson for U.S. Army Special Operations Command.

The incident is under investigation.

U.S. Army Special Operations Command is based in Fort Bragg, N.C.

CBS News identified the helicopter as part of the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, also known as the Night Stalkers, based at Fort Campbell in Kentucky.
