The Army’s latest and greatest gear can be seen at an expo traveling throughout Germany and Italy in the coming weeks.

The exhibition is presented by the Army’s Program Executive Office Soldier, the organization responsible for all equipment soldiers wear or carry, according to a U.S. Army Europe press release.

Improved body armor and helmets will be on display, as well as a small “kneeboard” computer and second-generation thermal weapon sights.

PEO Soldier’s objective is to develop the best gear and field it as quickly as possible, according to the organization’s Web site.
