ARLINGTON, Va. — Army officials are looking into whether a fourth soldier was involved with the deaths of three detainees May 9 in Salah Ad Din, Iraq, according to an Army news release.
The soldier’s name was not officially released Wednesday.
The other three soldiers involved in the matter are with the 3rd Battalion, 187th Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team of the 101at Airborne Division.
Each man is also accused of threatening to kill a fellow soldier to keep him from talking to investigators, records say.
