Top Ten

The Top Ten teams in the Stars and Stripes' Pacific high school football ratings, with records through Sept. 24, points and last week’s rating, as compiled by Dave Ornauer. Ratings are based on teams' win-loss records, quality of wins, strength of roster, schedule and leagues, point differential and team and individual statistics. Maximum rating is 500 points:

Kubasaki at Kadena, 6 p.m. – Could be the wrapup of the Panthers’ first Okinawa district title in three years. … Panthers 18, Dragons 8.

Division II

Yokota vs. Zama at Naval Air Facility Atsugi, 7 p.m. – Could the Panthers make it a perfect 3-0 run in as many games against the Trojans? More than likely. … Panthers 19, Trojans 7.

Guam

George Washington at Guam High, 7 p.m. – Beating Okkodo 50-7 a week earlier is one thing; going up against a beast like GW? … Geckos 21, Panthers 10.
Okkodo vs. Father Duenas at Mangilao, 7 p.m. – And the Bulldogs, who lost by 43 to Guam High a week earlier, now face off with the defending champions. … Friars 22, Bulldogs 6.

Saturday

Division I

Kinnick at ASIJ, 4 p.m. – Could go a long way toward determining which would be the first Japan team to play for the D-I title since 2012. … Mustangs 17, Red Devils 14.

Inter-district

Perry at Daegu, 4 p.m. – Revenge shalt be sweet, sayeth the Samurai. … Samurai 16, Warriors 9.

Guam

Southern at John F. Kennedy, 7 p.m. – Islanders look to stay alive for a first-round playoff host berth. … Islanders 15, Dolphins 8.
Tiyan vs. Simon Sanchez at Dededo, 7 p.m. – Can the Titans make it a school-first two straight wins against a depleted Sharks team? … Titans 12, Sharks 11.
