The Top Ten teams in the Stars and Stripes' Pacific high school football ratings, with records through Oct. 12, points and last week’s rating, as compiled by Dave Ornauer. Ratings are based on teams' win-loss records, quality of wins, strength of roster, schedule and leagues, point differential and team and individual statistics. Maximum rating is 500 points:

Kinnick at Kadena, 6 p.m. – Here’s how this works: Panthers win, they host. Red Devils win by 20-plus and win out the rest of the way, it goes to points. … Panthers 18, Red Devils 15.
American School In Japan at Humphreys, 6 p.m. – Both teams still have a very long outside shot at a playoff berth, but they each need to win and get a lot of help. … Blackhawks 12, Mustangs 6.

Division II

Robert D. Edgren at Zama, 7 p.m. – First game on the Trojans’ true home field and another step toward a return to the D-II title game. … Trojans 17, Eagles 9.

Guam playoffs

Simon Sanchez vs. Father Duenas at Mangilao, 7 p.m. – Just a bump in the road here as the Friars go for consecutive win No. 48 and title No. 5. … Friars 22, Sharks 10.

Saturday

Division II

Perry at Osan, 6 p.m. – Here’s how this works: Samurai win and the Cougars are dethroned. Cougars win? The whole race gets thrown wide open. … Samurai 14, Cougars 12.
Daegu at Yokota, 1 p.m. – Two teams playing for pride, and the home team gets the edge here. … Panthers 10, Warriors 7.

Guam playoffs
