Iraq, February, 1991: A wounded Iraqi soldier reaches up to touch the face of an American medic who's treating him after a battle in the desert during the Gulf War. Following this battle, the 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment's Iron Troop took nearly 200 prisoners, some of whom reported that they had been in the desert for 46 days without sufficient food and water after being abandoned by the Republican Guard.
