Bosnia and Herzegovina, December, 1998: Darius Rucker, the lead singer for Hootie and the Blowfish, stands in front of the 1st Cavalry Division honor guard as he sings the national anthem before his band's concert on Eagle Base. "We want to thank everyone for coming over here and risking your lives," Rucker later told the cheering crowd of about 1,500.
