North Borneo, June, 1959: Participants in Operation Saddle Up hold down a communications tent that's threatened by a passing helicopter's rotor wash. During the Southeast Asia Treaty Organization (SEATO) exercise, 3,000 U.S. Marines and British Foresters landed in British North Borneo, supported by ships and planes of the U.S. 7th Fleet and the British, Australian and New Zealand navies.
