Panmunjom, Korea, April, 1953: North Korean and Chinese soldiers sing for international reporters during a break in the construction of a highway to be used in an exchange of prisoners between Communist and United Nations forces. A story about the bilateral building project noted that while the Communists went about their work with picks and shovels, the allies had "three bulldozers, a power shovel, and scores of five-ton trucks" at their disposal.
