Baghdad, Iraq, October, 2003: Iraqi workers from Slim & JJ Steam Car Wash pressure-wash an M1A1 Abrams tank from Company A, 1st Battalion, 35th Armor Regiment of the 1st Armored Division in Baghdad's Coalition Green Zone base area. According to Capt. Logan Green, whose tank is in the middle of the hour-long process, the business has been open for about six weeks and charges $5 per car — or $20 per tank. Co-owner Slim was an interpreter for American units when they first arrived in Baghdad.
