Norm Zeisloft ©Stars and StripesFrankfurt, West Germany, February, 1962: Poker-faced comedy legend Buster Keaton plinks away at the piano during a tour of Germany (in a 100-year-old locomotive) to promote a revival of the silent films that brought him fame in the 1920s. Keaton's pantomime skills helped propel him to the top of his profession in the days before sound movies; he noted that "the average (silent) motion picture drama used about 240 titles to explain the story. The most titles I ever used was 52."
