The star-studded cast of the show included songwriter Irving Berlin, actress Irene Ryan (later known as Granny in the "Beverly Hillbillies" TV show), and World War II Medal of Honor recipient Gen. Jimmy Doolittle. Much of the group's time was spent entertaining troops involved with the Berlin Airlift.
