Craftsmanship is key for veteran and gunsmith

"I worked for a solid year on a military base in the middle of nowhere out in the desert repairing guns and instructing courses," he said. "Some (servicemen and women) may have been there for months before they even fire their firearm and it would be covered with sand and dirt and dust, so we would pull them in and get a chance to make sure everything was working. I wanted every gun on that base to be safe."
