YONGSAN GARRISON, South Korea -- With bad weather approaching the peninsula, Seoul American has announced all of its basketball games and wrestling matches have been postponed "until further notice," the school's co-athletics director Donald Hedgpath announced in an e-mail sent Thursday.

No makeup dates have been announced. The postponement will affect the Falcons' Korean-American Interscholastic Activities Conference Five-Cities Division weekend basketball games at Yongsan International School-Seoul and International Christian School-Uijongbu, and Seoul American's participation in the DODDS Korea season-opening tri-dual at Daegu High.

It's the second series of postponements so far this season. On Wednesday, snow forced the postponement of ICS-Uijongbu's trip to Osan American for basketball; the boys game has been rescheduled for Feb. 6. YIS-Seoul at Seoul Foreign was also scratched; no makeup date has been announced.

Weather forecasts out of Yongsan call for up to 2 inches of snow in the Seoul metropolitan area and 2 to 3 inches of snow down-peninsula from Yongsan.
