KAISERSLAUTERN, Germany - Kaiserslautern quarterback Josh Fry passed to Treyton Simmons for a 30-yard touchdown Saturday, then ran 14 yards for the Red Raiders’ second TD and added what would prove to be the decisive two-point conversion in a 15-14 victory over Lakenheath.

For the day, Fry passed for 129 yards and ran for 79 more for Kaiserslautern (2-4). Simmons caught three of Fry’s passes, good for 69 yards, and Anthony Caceres hauled in one which covered 60 yards but without reaching the end zone.

Xavier Thomas carried the ball 20 times for 115 yards and a touchdown for Lakenheath (0-6). Adam Garza, who rushed 15 times for 61 yards, ran for the Lancers’ other score. Lakenheath, however, was unable to convert its two-point try in a bid to win the game in the late going.

Zach West led Kaiserslautern’s defense with six tackles and a fumble recovery; Joey Connor and Troy Abrego each made four stops for Lakenheath.
