Cairns made seven saves in a 2-0 shutout win.

Helwig scored every Lion goal in a 4-2 defeat of Rota on Friday and provided four more in an 8-0 rout of Bitburg the next day.Ashton Knight, Alconbury: The Dragons earned two convincing wins over the weekend behind Knight’s front-line efforts. She scored three times and assisted on a goal in a 5-3 win over SHAPE on Saturday after posting a goal in Friday’s 4-0 defeat of Brussels.

BaseballJon Oswald, Ramstein: The junior ace led the defending Division I champs to another decisive win on Friday. Oswald’s five-inning no-hitter featured nine strikeouts and retired Wiesbaden 13-0.Robert Dromerhauser, Naples: The Wildcat junior headlined the team’s 4-0 weekend with contributions at the plate and on the mound. On Saturday, he yielded just two runs in 10 innings of work across two wins over Vicenza and added two hits in each game.

SoftballShamera Lane, Aviano: The Saint slugger had one of the most impressive offensive performances of the DODDS-Europe season on Saturday. Lane smacked two home runs and a double and drove in seven total runs in an 18-3 rout of Sigonella.Megan Buffington, Vicenza: The reigning Stars and Stripes softball Athlete of the Year blasted the Cougars out of a three-game losing streak with four straight wins over the weekend. Buffington had a home run and four RBI in Friday’s sweep clinching win over Sigonella and collected two homers, a triple and seven RBI in Saturday’s second win over Naples.

TrackBrandy James, Vicenza: The Cougar sprinter secured wins in both short-distance dashes Saturday at Naples. James ran the 100 in 13.10 seconds and the 200 in 28.35 seconds.Adarius Gallon, Alconbury: The gifted Dragon athlete won four events in Saturday’s home track meet. Gallon claimed victory at 100 meters, 200 meters and 400 meters as well as the long jump.
