Ten months after having to fold his team in midseason because of lack of players, head coach Matt McKown has a 19-man roster to start the 2012 season.
The Jaguars are counting on senior leadership, in the persons of Antonio Garcia and Tristan Morriss, and enthusiastic freshmen to carry the team in 2012, McKown emailed.
 The Jags will need both qualities, because, like Menwith Hill, Sigonella’s enrollment has shrunk dramatically.
“High numbers,” McKown wrote, “are the key to Division III football.”
The return to DODDS-Europe football couldn’t be tougher, either. Rota comes to call on Sept. 8, and the Jaguars go from there to Baumholder the following week.
