BAUMHOLDER, Germany - The Rota Admirals got their money's worth on the long trip to Germany on Saturday, opening their DODDS-Europe Division II football season with a 27-0 shutout of host Baumholder.

Jonas Camacho rushed for 135 yards and two scores and Estevan Gallardo threw for 176 yards, collected a touchdown on the ground and added another score on an interception return for Rota. The win is already an improvement for the Admirals, who went winless last season.

The Bucs, now 0-2 after losing to Bitburg last Saturday, lingered in striking distance until starting quarterback Kameron Moore went down to injury. Rota rattled off 20 fourth-quarter points to settle the matter.

Denoris Buchanan carried 20 times for 80 yards for the Bucs, while Anthony Amos made a team-high eight tackles.
