Ramstein only D-I unbeaten after Patch falls

RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany - Quarterback Dylan Le Page ran for two drive-capping touchdowns and passed for a third score Saturday to lift the Ramstein Royals to a 27-0 victory over the visiting Patch Panthers.

Robert Navarro grabbed a seven-yard scoring pass thrown by Le Page and a 63-yard scoring strike from Lucas Mireles in the game the Royals led 21-0 at halftime.

Ramstein’s linebackers led the defensive charge which blanked previously unbeaten Patch and left the Royals (3-0) the lone Division I unbeaten.

Matt Sharpy picked off two passes, Tyler Rood added a third interception, and Brandon Simonson was credited with 10 tackles.

Patch (2-1) had a pair of 10-tackle players. Walter Guyer supplemented his 10 stops by blocking an extra-point kick, and Joe Logan embellished his 10 with a sack.

Ramstein is scheduled to play at Wiesbaden on Friday night; Patch is ticketed for a Saturday game at Kaiserslautern.
