Brussels can't avoid Bulls' stampede

BRUSSELS, Belgium – Playing their second football game against a DODDS opponent in less than a week, the Brussels Bulls didn’t show any fatigue Wednesday night, keeping the Brussels American Brigands winless on the year with a 32-14 victory.

The Bulls, a team filled with Belgian players, lost to Division II AFNORTH 39-22 on Saturday. But they were too much for the Division III Brigands.

Kristian Javier led the DODDS team from Brussels with 184 yards rushing on 17 carries. He also had 110 yards on kickoff returns, according to coach Tim Mobley, and threw a 35-yard touchdown pass to fullback Greg Norton. No stats were available for the Bulls.

Justin Vozzo had eight tackles for the Brigands, 0-3 on the season. Brussels travels to Sigonella for an Oct. 6 matchup.
