Sandra Jontz
Sandra Jontz joined Stars and Stripes in 2000, working first in the Pentagon bureau in Washington, D.C., before joining the Naples, Italy, bureau in 2004. She graduated in 1992 from George Mason University in Fairfax, Va., with a degree in communications. Jontz previously covered education, the police beat and courts for the Potomac News and Fairfax Journal, both in Virginia, before joining Stars and Stripes.
