D-Day anniversary

Normandy, France, June 6, 1949: As participants in ceremonies marking the fifth anniversary of the World War II D-Day landings watch, a lone B17 approaches for the dropping of a wreath on the beach. The B17 crew consisted of five men who flew support missions over the area on D-Day: 1st Sgt. Richard Clarno, 1st Lt. Joseph Faulkner, Lt. Col. Herbert Schulze, 1st Lt. Robert Collins and Tech. Sgt. Ralph Barajas.
