Flight times

Bodo, Norway, September, 1954: Anyone who complains that it takes too long to fly from point A to point B need only check the flight times on this Scandinavian Airlines promotional sign to see that it was much worse before regular jet service. Of course, in 1954 a 70-hour (and five minute) flight to Tokyo was much quicker than the previous standard, a sea voyage.
